After the presentation visitors were welcome to ask Gareth questions to discuss the company’s services and experience in more detail. The presentation was supported by a case study with a live demo of the simulation and live demos of custom components created for the project. The presentation focused on ATG’s Discrete Event Simulation expertise and allowed visitors to learn more about the projects previously delivered by The Automated Technology Group. The Automated Technology Group was also among the presenters, with the company’s Simulation Engineer, Gareth Henry, delivering a presentation called, “Plant Simulation – A controls partner’s story,” on 21 June 2016. Visitors had the privilege to attend presentations hosted by representatives of Mazda, Procter & Gamble, BMW and Eisenmann, as well as a wealth of workshops provided by Siemens PLM. As part of the event, delegates had the opportunity to spend a day visiting a production site of a local manufacturer, which was followed by two days of product presentations, case studies, workshops and software training. Hosted by Siemens PLM Software at the company’s Stuttgart, Germany, location, the event took place between 20 – 22 June 2016 bringing together hundreds of simulation experts from all over the world to share knowledge and explore the possibilities of the newly-launched Plant Simulation Version 13. ![]() With simulation rapidly becoming an essential risk reduction tool across many industries, The Automated Technology Group (ATG) was delighted to showcase its simulation expertise and learn more about the latest software developments at the annual Siemens PLM Plant Simulation Worldwide User Conference 2016. ![]()
